What Is Five Clues?
Five Clues is a daily word puzzle in which the player has six attempts to identify a hidden five-letter word.
After each guess, colored tiles indicate which letters are correct, misplaced, or not included in the answer.
The game does not require an account, registration, or login.
Personal Information
Five Clues does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment information, contact lists, precise location, or other personally identifiable information.
The developer does not create individual player profiles.
Guesses and Color Clues
Letters entered by the player are checked against the current puzzle answer only to provide the game's clue system.
Guesses are not used for advertising, profiling, or identifying the player.
Daily Puzzle Data
The app may use the device date to determine which daily puzzle should be displayed and whether the current puzzle has already been completed.
This date-based processing is used only for game functionality and is not used to track the user's physical location.
Local Storage
Five Clues may store the current puzzle state, entered guesses, completion history, streaks, statistics, sound preferences, and display settings in local application storage.
Local data can generally be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game.
Player Statistics
The app may display personal statistics such as games played, win percentage, current streak, longest streak, or guess distribution.
These statistics are calculated locally for the player's personal use and are not uploaded to an online leaderboard.
Device Permissions
Five Clues does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos, messages, call history, or personal documents.
